Shreya Varma is a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in New Delhi and brings with her a unique experience of over 11 years of practice in both urban and rural cities in India. She is a professional life member of the Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists. Ms. Varma has previous experience of working at Fortis Healthcare, Symbiosis International University and Sanjivini Society for Mental Health. She has a specialization in providing longer-term psychotherapy and takes an interest in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. She works with individuals diagnosed with psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and, personality disorders. Her current interests include the application of psychoanalytic thinking in mental health settings. She also provides psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults needing to be assessed for IQ, learning disability, autism and ADHD.
Ms. Varma has been published in online journals and magazines like Frenis Zero Online Psychoanalytic Journal, Psychoanalysis Today, Room: A Sketchbook for Analytic Action among others. She has presented her papers at international and national conferences and has also won the Scholar Award by Division 39 (Society for Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychology) of the American Psychological Association.
